I am presenting Own Your Life with my husband Alex Iglecia in Boston. The dates for the workshop are June 14 and 15, and it will be at The Sports Club/LA in Boston. It should be a fascinating experience exploring our own lives through mind, body, relationships and food. Come and enjoy!
Find your mind!
Explore your body!
Know yourself!
Eat for life!
Own Your Life helps you discover the depth of your own inner wisdom. Alex and Beth have designed and written Own Your Life for it to be about you. That means it is your experience, your learning, your wisdom.
Do you ever feel stuck in your life?
Do you have fitness, body and health goals?
Do you want to deepen relationships, or just make them work?
It’s experience that will make this possible - experience through raised awareness. You will wake up, take a look, and Own Your Life. It’s really simple, but often we just don’t allow ourselves the time, the moments, and the awareness to find out for ourselves.
Alex and Beth guide the Own Your Life experiences. Get involved or help bring Own Your Life to your community. In the meantime, here are four great tastes of what you can do right now to wake up to your experience of mind, body, relationships and food.
This interview with Beth lasts just about 20 minutes and talks about how to detox, the importance and health benefits of eating locally, and how to liven up your body and energy by getting springy.

Who am I? My name is Beth Turgeon and I provide Holistic Health Counseling services and Yoga training. I also work at Lionette’s because I have a firm belief that our future as a community depends on what and how we eat (plus, they have great food). The holidays can be the cause of many stresses and food-related dilemmas in our lives. In times like these, eating well, organically, healthfully and sustainably is on our minds, but somehow we loose ourselves and only think about the stress, the money, gaining weight, being tired, and worrying about Aunt Martha giving us another pair of socks. How can we enjoy our holidays and still have energy, health and no stress? Eating isn’t the only answer, but it’s foundational! Here’s how you can be so fresh for the holidays people will want to slap you…
Eat food that will help your energy level by choosing the freshest, most local food possible.
Stress less about cooking with basic planning, simple recipes, and wholesome prepared food.
Move more throughout the day, and of course, the cold weather is simply no excuse. Take a class, watch a tape, or just chase your friends or kids!
